Vivo’s had a pretty busy week—alongside the launch of its new Vivo X300 series flagship phones, the Chinese tech giant also unveiled a handful of other products under its belt, which include a new affordable smartwatch and tablet, which company officially refers to as the Watch GT 2 and Vivo Pad 5e, respectively. What exactly do they come with though?

First up is the Vivo Pad 5e, which comes priced at around 200 quid when converted. The tablet runs on a rather capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, in addition to a large 10,000 mAh battery inside. We imagine that this should be an ideal setup for content consumption including Netflix binges and occasional gaming sessions as it does features a large 12.1-inch screen, with a 2.8K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It also comes with reasonably-slim bezels, as well as a design that pretty much resembles a lot of other tablets on the market these days.

The tablet is available in a handful of different memory and storage configurations, starting at 8GB of RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage. Other features include Android with Origin OS on top, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera for video calls and selfies. Vivo does sell optional accessories which include a keyboard case as well as a stylus, which are much welcome additions for users looking to add a bit of productivity with their tablet.

Meanwhile, the Watch GT 2 comes with a design that’s very reminiscent of certain other smartwatch models out there (we probably don’t need to mention which one at this point). It comes with a 2.07-inch AMOLED touchscreen, which gets pretty bright at 2400 nits, and should be easily visible even when outdoors. They also come with a lot of the usual health and fitness tracking features, including more than a hundred activity modes, heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, as well as stress alerts.

Interestingly, Vivo offers the watch in two variants, one of which packs LTE connectivity with e-sim support. In addition to connectivity differences, the two models also come with different battery configurations—595mAh for the LTE model and 695 for the Bluetooth variant. They are priced at around £50 and £75, respectively, although at the moment they’re only available for buyers in China.
